Murray Ohms

Both Murray and Beverley Ohms are Certified Equine Sports Therapists. Together they have provided a mobile equine and canine therapy service to their clients since 1997. They live in the Kamloops area of British Columbia where for many years they bred and trained Anglo-Arabian performance horses

Ohms Horse & Hound Massage Service BackgroundAfter having an Equine Therapist work on their own horses and seeing the resulting improvements in health, Murray attended the British Columbia College of Equine Therapy in Vernon. He completed the college's 2-year in-depth program in June 1997 with a certificate in Equine Sports Therapy. Murray has also attained Level 4 Touch for Health, Level 2 Reiki as well as completed advanced courses in Chiropractics and Acupressure therapies.

Beverley completed the same Equine Therapy program at BCCET in 2007. Since graduating she has completed advanced courses in Chiropractics, Cranial Sacral techniques, Level 1 Reiki and canine massage.

Murray and Beverley are experienced horse people with over 40 years each owning and working all types of horses from Miniatures to Draft. Murray has ranched with horses and competed in many equine sports including: distance riding, gymkhana, halter and driving. Beverley is a retired professional farrier with many years show ring experience as well as competitive trail and driving. Dogs have always been an important part of their family life.

Since graduation Murray and Beverley have worked full time caring for clients in the Fraser Valley, Kamloops and Cariboo areas of B.C. spending alternate weeks in each area. As their schedule permits they are available for clinics and demonstrations.
